Back in the day, the game was called Frisbee golf, and it was a lot simpler; often, you’d only have to hit a pole to achieve ‘par.’ But disc golf has evolved, with special equipment, refined rules, and even a Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) for those who take their game VERY seriously! Bandera has its own 18-hole (or basket) course, expanded from nine back in 2019. This 57-par, 5,633-foot course is open year round during daylight hours, and is located on the corner of 1st and Cypress Streets, alongside the Medina River, in the Cowboy Capital of the World.
