The River Bend Hideaway is right on the Medina River, where you'll have private access to the tubing, fishing, and swimming this area's famous for. This countryside roost is also close to great towns like Bandera and Medina, so you'll be close to great food, shopping, night life, and events!

There's space here to accommodate up to 13 guests, but this spacious home is perched on ten gorgeous Hill Country acres, so everyone will have plenty of elbow room! It's easily one of the best guest houses in the Bandera area, a waterfront cabin getaway loaded with amenities and extras, all in a rural setting that's relaxing and exciting all at the same time. The grounds are ideal for wildlife watching, hiking, and stargazing, too!

The River Bend Hideaway has two shaded porches, both with comfy outdoor furniture, where you can rest and savor views of the mountainous countryside and the nearby Medina River. The charcoal grill on-site allows you to test your BBQ skills; there's nothing like a hearty meal after a day on the river! While bed and bath linens are included during your stay, your hosts at River Bend ask that guests bring their own towels for use on the river. If there are smokers in your crew, they're allowed to light up, but outside only, please.

Gleaming light and dark woodwork makes the interior shine, along with plenty of natural light. There's an enormous living area and dining area, a bar island with stools, and a generously equipped kitchen, including a washer and dryer alcove right next to the kitchen. Cutlery, glasses, cookware and serving ware for your meals are included, too! Both full bathrooms in the home have showers, and the three bedrooms with seven plush and restful beds provide great sleeping arrangements for up to a baker's dozen. We were looking for a secluded place where our family could get in some much-needed R & R while continuing to socially distance, and this place fit the bill. The private river access is beautiful, and we spent as much time as we could hanging out in the water or lazing on the shore. There are soaring cypress trees, and we were able to hang a hammock in the shade. You can drive down to the river in just a couple of minutes or make the short (lovely) walk. We saw so many deer but no other people during our entire 4-day visit. The back porch is such a great place to hang out, and we also enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen was adequate for cooking, although the dishwasher was on the fritz while we were there. Beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to spread out. Our 12-year-old has already asked when we can go back!

Great place with access to the Medina and a ton of land , we cooked on the bbq pit and on the fire pit grill. Just a 40-minute drive to Lost Maples. Everything worked well and communication was fast. We had a great time

This house has everything you could think of, but will probably forget to bring. So many personal touches that made our stay amazing. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we found a place that fit our party at a price we could afford. I will definitely be staying with them again. Thank you again for everything!

The house is close enough to the river to walk. We enjoyed floating in the river. And we loved watching the deer at sunset. You could count on deer as the deer feeder went off each evening. There was plenty of room for 5 of us, and cooking was easy.

The River Bend Hideaway was a wonderful place to spend the weekend. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We spent hours enjoying the river which is just a short walk or drive down a lovely little path. The back porch provides a great view and breeze for watching the many birds and deer in the area. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon. Thank you!
