this was our 1st vacation with most all my sisters and we took our 88 year old Mom. The house we rented was called "OmiesHaus" in Fredricksburg and it was amazing. The house was beautiful and location was peaceful. We took and sat my Mom outside to enjoy the scenery. There were deers, cows, goats and sheep she said to us what a peaceful place it was the heat did not even bother her one bit. Can't wait for us to come back Debbie and Bing the property owners were so sweet we enjoyed meeting and visit with them

First of all Debbie and Bing are excellent hosts they are very focused on making the stay the best possible. The house is completely setup with everything you need for a great stay. We were there for our daughters wedding, and Bing and Debbie just became an extension of our family, friends and coordination. They helped with anything and everything that we needed being the most dependable hosts ever. Even with all our unique requests with the wedding like flower delivery, storing flowers overnight, having a rehearsal dinner onsite, storing champagne, food, final prep etc. etc our great hosts were completely accommodating. You are not going to find people who will come alongside you and are so willing to serve than this guys. We enjoyed the stay so much surrounded by the deer and birds and the place is far enough out for the billion star sky at night and the peace and quiet that you just can’t find these days. We recommend this property with the highest marks, and we recommend these hosts as the best of the best. Thanks VRBO and Debbie and Bing for helping make memories which is what you said you wanted to help us do. You meant it, and we will be back to relax and enjoy ourselves in the future.

I arrived at Ranch Haus mid-week, for an early weekend. Tucked back down a quiet road, the property is beautiful. After slowly making my way up the driveway, taking care to mind the deer while passing by, I was immediately greeted by Debbie and Bing, the hosts. They gave me tons of interesting information about the property and its wildlife. I spent most of my time during the week reading on the porch, following the sun around the house and looking up when animals would walk by. The deer, cows, sheep, are active around all sides of the house, all day. It's quite the spectacle at times. I look forward to going back to Ranch Haus for more relaxing getaways.

We had a wonderful experience. Debbie and Bing were very gracious hosts. They came and introduced themselves and made sure everything was fine. The property is very inviting and is decorated very elegantly. Everything we needed was there. It was a great getaway for us suburbanites. We spent evenings and mornings on the porch watching cows, deer and humming birds. It was quiet and we could enjoy the sounds of nature. There\'s plenty to do around as well: we trekked in a state park and went kayaking on the Guadalupe river in nearby Kerrville. All in all, a fantastic getaway.

This is the perfect getaway house just outside of town. Quiet hill country atmosphere with amazing wildlife right outside your door. We enjoyed deer, birds, turkey and even a fox. Bing and Debbie were the most amazing hosts and showed us around the property and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!

If there was ever a stay that deserved more than 5 stars, this was it! Omie's Haus is far enough from town for the real hill country feel, but close enough to go for a quick bite to eat and see the sites. Bing and Debbie, the owners, are the epitome of hospitality and went above and beyond for us and our kids during the weekend! We enjoyed getting up every morning, having coffee and watching the deer at the feeder, and the nice cool evenings watching the sunset behind the hills. Very blessed to have found this place, we'll be scheduling a revisit without a doubt!
