In 2008, the city of Boerne approached the local skating community for their input in order to create a safe and fun skate spot, and from their collaboration came the Boerne Skate Park, which was opened to the public two years later! Constructed by the experts at SPA Skate Parks of Austin, the result is a 7,500 square foot recreational space for folks on skateboards, scooters, and inline skates, with extra facilities such as picnic areas, restrooms, and drinking fountains. The Boerne Skate park is open year round, during all daylight hours, and admission is free. Please exercise respect for your fellow skaters, and play safe!
