If you’re visiting Boerne with younger children along, there’s a fenced park in town custom-designed for their fun and safety: Kinderpark! It was originally developed with the support of the local chapter of the Optimist Club, and was therefore known as “Optimist Park.” In 2016, however, the park underwent a major makeover, with the addition of a safe and creative playground designed with younger kids in mind. Alongside the playground, you’ll find picnic tables, benches, and a pavilion, making it a great spot for birthday parties and other gatherings! Kinderpark is open every day of the year from 6 AM to 10 PM.
