Museum Description

German settlers came to what would become the town of Boerne back in the 1880s, and added an important thread to the tapestry of Hill Country history. Maintained by the Boerne Area Historical Preservation Society, the Kuhlmann-King Historical Complex features a restored pioneer home, two other historical buildings, and over 2,000 artifacts to tell the tale of that bygone time! The BAHPS often schedules special events to appeal to all ages, and to bring the history of the region to life. The complex is open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from noon to 3 PM. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.
