Formerly known as Riverside Park, this popular Borne recreation spot underwent a major overhaul in 2013, and is now known as River Road Park! On its east end is Dietert Mill Dam; this historic structure spans Cibolo Creek and dates back to the early 20th century, when it was part of the Dietert family homestead. The park itself is a wonderful natural setting in which to unwind, and you can fish off the piers installed for that purpose. Have a relaxing family picnic, and watch the antics of the several species of wild geese and ducks who call the park home! River Road Park is open 5 AM to midnight year round.
