Description

Well off the beaten path, six miles south of Castroville, you’ll find the fascinating and scenic Shooting Star Museum! Their indoor and outdoor exhibits are dedicated to the history and preservation of aircraft, automobiles, farming equipment, uniforms, and other important artifacts that represent our country’s industrial development. If you’re visiting the area during March and early April, check out their Bluebonnet Walk, when the grounds are covered with the brilliant blooms of Texas’ state flower! The Shooting Star Museum is open Sundays from 1 to 5 PM. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.
