Since 1895, D'Hanis has become famous for the bricks stamped with "D'HANIS," though the odd name sometimes leads to confusion. You'll find them in historical structures throughout Texas and beyond; for example, the elevator shafts in the Empire State Building are lined with D'Hanis bricks. The D'Hanis Brick & Tile Company has been making these famous bricks since 1905, and are just as active today as ever. Keep your eyes peeled for their handiwork!
