Texas Monthly magazine has named John T. Floore's Country Store in Helotes one of the 50 things every Texan should do! Since it opened in 1942, this live music venue and dance hall has hosted stellar names such as Patsy Cline, Hank Williams Sr., Willie Nelson, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, B.B. King, and countless other musical legends. With live music events taking place often, a full-service bar (featuring beer, wine, and liquor), and classic cafe food served during concerts and dances, visitors to Helotes have numerous reasons to check it out! Floore's is open Friday and Saturday from 7 PM to midnight.
