Deer often stroll right up to the shaded patio that fronts the Casita, and there's plenty of patio furniture-there's even a romantic swing under one of the shade trees! Red Bluff Creek is the perfect setting for cooling off, or just unplugging for a while (water levels vary based on seasonal rain; please check with us). Share the soothing quiet with your loved ones around the fire pit and have a Lone Star barbecue on the grill provided. Take in the views on the spacious ranch with a leisurely hike and look up in wonder at the crystalline stars on clear nights.

Facing the patio is a glass wall that gives panoramic views of the picturesque hills. The warm, wood-accented interior includes a full bath with shower, a king-sized bed, and an additional king-sized trundle, which sleeps up to four comfortably. All bed and bath linens are included, and the kitchenette features a microwave, coffee machine, mini fridge, and two-burner cook top. Laundry facilities are also available. The hosts were very hospitable and knowledgeable about things to do and places to go in the surrounding area and counties. The cottage, Casita, was very inviting and had all the things one would need to feel at home. We will definitely be returning when things get back to normal in the world and time permits us to do so.

What a great place to stay! Everything was clean and well thought out. Very well stocked kitchen with a brand new cook top. With the high speed internet, this could be your new work from home getaway like it was for us. Hosts Shirley, Keith and Pop who live in the other houses on the property were so welcoming and we enjoyed spending time with them as well. The property is well maintained and Shirley made sure we felt welcome to enjoy it! For example, she refilled the bird feeders so we could see hummingbirds right on our front porch every morning. We will definitely stay here again.

The location, grounds and casita were beautiful, charming, private, and dog friendly. We were not able to enjoy the gorgeous outdoors, nature and walks as much as we would have liked due to our busy schedule with wedding festivities however we will definitely return! Coffee pods were provided as well as bottled water if we had not brought in own. Keep pets on a leash due to the extreme drop off near the casita (goes without saying). We attempted to book an additional day when we realized how busy we would be the days we were there - too late - very sought after spot during spring break and I'm sure quite often - do not let this one get away from you, book it now before we do! My husband met the owner a few times, once without his shirt ♀‍ (my husband not the owner ) and he said he was very welcoming and friendly and looks like Billy Bob Thornton haha. A great time, great stay, we can not wait to enjoy it again. ***Highly recommend CIBOLO BREWING!*** By far the best establishment around, great beer, great staff, cute spot, and the food looked amazing! Cheers! Padraic & Andrea

We loved our stay at their cozy little Casita. Easy to find, on a nice, quiet ranch near Boerne. Host was extremely nice with good recommendations for restaurants in town. Very thoughtful touches, like setting up kindling in the chiminea on the porch, Keurig with various coffee and creamer choices. The highlight was the hosts leaving a tub of deer corn for us to spread out at night, then waking up to a dozen deer grazing in front of our glass wall. Our puppy loved the wide open spaces but had a little accident - when he saw the deer on the front porch in the morning, he ran after them straight into the screen door. Our incredible hosts were so understanding and told us not to worry about it. We will definitely be back to stay with them again. Can't recommend this Casita enough.
