Property Description

This luxurious yet affordable Medina River cabin is one of the most unique lodging rentals we have available for our visitors, and a lot of that is due to its one-of-a-kind location. It's tucked away in a peaceful and cypress-lined cove on the Medina, yet it's in Bandera, the Cowboy Capital of the World, with all the popular hot spots and shops only blocks away. Kids and pets are both welcome here, which makes Lambert Park a perfect Hill Country getaway, no matter who you decide to bring along.

All the fun, adventure, and relaxation the scenic Medina River has to offer is practically at your doorstep here! You can fish and swim, or just decompress in the hammock on the river's bank. The river's also famous for its tubing trips, and Bandera's rental shops and drop-off spots are all close to the cabin, as well. Lambert Park is one of the rare places where you can watch abundant natural wildlife and enjoy some wild life of your own in Bandera's famed honky tonks and live music venues.

The spacious shaded porch and football field-sized yard face the river here, and it's all tricked out with comfortable outdoor furniture and porch swings. While you kick back outside, try your hand at a hearty and savory Texas-sized barbecue on the combination charcoal grill and smoker! The wildlife and breathtaking views that have made the Hill Country famous are yours to admire along the Medina, with the Wild West history and shops of the Cowboy Capital of the World just a short walk away.

The moment you step inside, the big, soft sofa and recliners in the living room reflect the overall comfort of this pretty cabin. Two bedrooms, one furnished with a king-sized bed and the other with a queen, offer supreme sleeping comfort for up to four guests, and the entire interior space is kept even more comfy with central heat and air. The kitchen's fully set up with a stove, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and utensils and bed and bath linens are all included during your stay. High speed internet, a TV with Roku service, and a local phone land line are among your tech extras here, along with excellent in-town cell coverage.

Went for a last minute getaway with my kids before school! So thankful that this home was available. It was perfect for us! Loved the hammock and all the friendly deer everywhere. We found a special place in the Medina River, off hwy 16, in Medina with little waterfalls and rope swings and the kids snorkeled. It was beautiful and we were the only ones there!! Priceless!! We also went to Garner State Park one day and the Frio River was so clear and beautiful!! Restaurants in Bandera are great!!! Everyone was SO friendly too!! Loved it!!!

Lambert Park is a cute house on the Medina River in Bandera, Texas. It is one of the most peaceful places we have stayed. It is right down the road from all the fun in town, but is a very private and quiet place to unwind. We have stayed there twice and absolutely love it! The back yard is my favorite! We smoked a brisket and enjoyed watching all the deer. Will rent again and recommend the cabin to couples or families to enjoy! :)

Host was very easy to communicate with and hospitable. The placement of the house was perfect. Just minutes away from everything. The property is so spacious. We enjoyed walking down to the river. Be ready to climb up and down an embankment if the river is low though. Wildlife is abundant. Way more than expected. We loved it! I would definitely book The Lambert again.

I hope you like it quiet - because that's exactly what you'll get here in the chalet! You're a mile & a half or so from the main road through Bandera, but you're 5 minutes away from birds chirping, deer grazing in the greenbelt, and complete silence on the back porch for your morning coffee. The river being a few hundred feet away was really nice and the family and I spent some time splashing around when we first arrived to cool off. The stay was pretty relaxing, and the host had just about everything we needed to use the grill, cook for ourselves, and otherwise enjoy getting out of Austin for a long weekend. The only uncomfortable thing was the shower; I'm a tall guy and I didn't fit well and had to hunch over to bathe. No biggie.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Had enough room to visit with our daughter and son-in-law who are refurbishing their home in Bandera. We used the grill outside on numerous occasions and enjoyed the kitchen. Only suggestion would be for some of the drawers in the bedroom be available to put clothes in. I always unpack. Plenty of water pressure for the shower, but a little cramped for my 6"2" husband. The beds were comfortable and everything was so very clean. Overall the house worked very well for us. The wildlife that we viewed from the house was amazing. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
