A dam on the Sabinal River has formed a deep and cool swimming hole in Utopia Park that refreshes even in the driest Texas summers! This tree-lined, riverside park provides locals and visitors space to fish, swim, bird watch, have a picnic, and relax. Utopia Park is also home to rodeos and other special events during the summer, and there are extra facilities which can be rented for larger groups. Utopia Park is open to foot traffic visitors 24 hours a day throughout the year, except during paid events, and admission is $10 per person per day; admissions go toward keeping the park beautiful. Leashed pets are welcome!
